Kazuki Muraoka

Biography

北海道札幌市出身、東京都在住。都内を中心にライブ活動を行う。
エレクトロニカ、IDM、ビートミュージックに影響を受けたエクスペリメンタルな作品を制作する電子音楽家。

音楽の学術的な側面を知るため、慶應義塾大学・大学院にてコンピューターミュージックを学び、
信号処理、リズム・インターフェースに関する研究、およびICMC等の国際学会への出展を行う。

2013年に自身の運営するAdapt Recordsから12inch EP “EP001”をリリース。
その後、2017年に自身初のアルバムである”Parallax”、2020年に”Amber EP”をリリース。
また2020年、2021年の横浜スタジアムでのイルミネーションイベント、”BALLPARK FANTASIA”のサウンド制作を担当。
その他、レコーディング、ミキシング、マスタリングなどエンジニアとしても多数の作品に関わっている。
現在は作品制作のためにMax/MSPを使用したシステムを開発中。

Kazuki Muraoka was born in Sapporo, Hokkaido, currently living in Tokyo.
He created experimental works influenced by electronica, IDM, and beat music.

To understand the academic side of music, he studied computer music at Keio University,
where he researched signal processing and rhythm structure
and participated in international conferences such as ICMC.

In 2013, he released a 12-inch EP "EP001" from Adapt Records he is running.
After that, he released his first album "Parallax," in 2017 and "Amber EP" in 2020.
He was also in charge of the sound production for "BALLPARK FANTASIA,"
the illumination event at Yokohama Stadium in 2020 and 2021.
In addition, he is participating in many other projects as an engineer,
including recording, mixing, and mastering.
He is currently developing a system using Max/MSP for his works.
